Slashdot linked to a nice IBM article about installing linux on a mac mini. check it out here. I’m probably getting a powerbook… once I convince myself that more debt isn’t so bad. Hey it’s the American way after all, isn’t it?

Opie for the SL-C3000 is still very young, and buggy, and annoying. OpenBSD for the SL-C3000 is also very young. pdaXrom doesn’t even have a version for the SL-C3000 yet. So I decided “screw this” I’m going to use the english translation of the original Sharp ROM. How did I do it? With the help of this fine document at www.xlfag.com (All I needed to change was /mnt/cf to /mnt/card because I used an SD card instead of CF). I would hug the guy that wrote that… but instead I’ll just praise him here 😉 Same thing right?

Finally a release for the SL-C3000! You can find out more at openzaurus.org In other news, the openbsd crew has a new screenshot available of OpenBSD running on an SL-C3000.

Found another tutorial for setting up virtual hosting of email with postfix. This one uses dovecot for the mail retrieval.
